Orange will launch an own video game store for Android

One of Android's weakest points are the video games. Well, it was better. And is the launch of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play marked a before and an after in the sector of video games in the platform for mobile phones created by Google. On the one hand we have the own Sony releasing PSP games that are compatible with Android and on the other hand we have development houses like Snapdragon to launch a store with gamesdual-core processors optimized.

The last to join the Group has been Orange, who has just of announced the arrival of a gaming terminals Android store. This store is targeted at customers of the company, and will feature games like the Sims 3, Tetris, Pro Evolution soccer 2011, Millionaire City, Call of Duty or Assassins Creed the brotherhood.

This was quite predictable. Operators begin to realize the importance of video games and that is one of the few markets not exploited in Android, an operating system is clear booming and goes over. Orange has decided to take the lead, ahead of its competitors and offer an exclusive service to its customers. How to take the operators of the competition react? Now I say unto you I really little...

Mozilla is developing a proprietary operating system

It seems that the all-powerful Android and iOS has left them a new competitor in the market of operating systems for mobile phones.  And is that Mozilla has announced it is developing a project called Boot to Gecko and B2G, with which they seek to develop an OS for mobile devices, tablets and smartphones.

According to the guys from the browser the current mobile landscape is too fragmented, with a terrible lack of communication and compatibility between the different platforms, something true.

His idea is creating a web OS that allows use of quick and easy with any smartphone. That Yes, you do not expect this out tomorrow and that the Boot project Gecko is still at a very early stage; are still deciding which is the best technology to use, although it seems that Mozilla will use part of the source code for Android to make this system operational.

It is rather clear that the new operating system Mozilla not sweep or they will remove a large market share to its main competitors but is quite interesting the idea of a web operating system that is feasible to use it on any device and which also allows to interact to a mobile phone with Android with an iPhone or a mobile phone that operates under the Windows Phone 7 platform.

RIM is made with JayCut

RIM is not to be left behind. The Canadian company knows that its Blackberry´s are losing sector every day, thanks to the unstoppable rise of Android and the Almighty iPhone.  But RIM won't be idly. Proof of this is that the RIM just bought Jaycut, a small startup that is having enough pull.

The idea of RIM is used Jaycut to help improve the positioning of its tablet, RIM, which is not having the expected success. This will take advantage of all the power of Jaycut.

And is that Jaycut began in 2007 offering an online video editing service. This service is popular because Jaycut offers the possibility to add small details, such as effects and transitions, as well as allowing the possibility to directly upload your videos "tuneados" on Facebook or Youtube.

They have not transcended the terms of the purchase and the cost of the same though from Jaycut reported that from now on it will be part of the RIM team, which is why the figure must have been really sickening. Especially if we consider that the Swedish company was treading very strong and had a future very promising.

As I have said RIM wants to enhance his BlackBerry Playbook with Jaycut because Canadian tablet works very well on video in HD. Soon we'll see how it copes with Jaycut…

HTC does not fear allegations of Apple

HTC is one of the leading-edge of the time. When it came out Android, these Taiwanese crazy decided to bet on Google's operating system. The result has been a successful sales of smartphones HTC incredible and an increase in the prestige and to deny it, the appalling company benefits.

On the other hand we have the constant war of patents: that if Samsung fights with Apple, that if Microsoft exploits its competitors with Android, Samsung and HTC, taking advantage of patents that have those in Redmond… Increasingly there are more rumors that HTC will be severely affected by this war of patents. More than anything because these lawsuits are really expensive. The problem of these rumors? Investors begin to distrust and the actions of the company fall precipitously.

That is why Peter Chou, CEO of HTC, has come to the fore to make things clear: "the demands today are a symbol that you are succeeding, it is simply part of the business". A truth as a temple.  It is clear that lwar that is opening up between HTC and Apple do to leave both sides face but the Taiwanese won't have fear of facing the guys at the Apple and who have enough money to keep despite the incredible economic cost of these disputes.

Apple requests a patent called radial menus

And we continue from imovilphone with the news about the iPhone 5, the most anticipated Smartphone and which Apple has put the expectations really high. The latest news on the new terminal of the Apple company deals with a strange patent that has been made in United States.

And is that Steve Jobs the company has made an application for patent called "radial menus", a system that would be present in the new 5, iPad 2 iPhone and, of course in any operating system compatible device iOS 5.

We have no idea of what may be this but making cabals we can imagine that these radial menus are a new graphical interface of the iPhone expected 5 and future Apple devices as part of the patent indicates the following:

"spacing not uniform menu items, (ii) the use of shadow to highlight a region associated with an article to indicate the current item seleccionabilidad and (iii) the use of gestures for the opening of sub-menus and the subsequent placement of the tab."

We will have to wait for Apple to show the coveted iPhone 5 to see surprising this time Steve Jobs

Angry Birds updated to Windows Phone 7

Rovio Mobile, responsible for one of the games most famous mobile, Angry Birds, is it not to. If the last thing we learned is that the guys at Rovio just launch the updated Mine And Dine, the saga of pissed-off birds, now we learn that is updated version 1.1 of Angry Birds for Windows Phone 7.

This update not only have reviewed small errors, particularly in the graphic aspect of the game, but they have also passed for 135 levels to 225. Come on, 90 new levels for Angry Birds for Windows Phone 7.

The game maintains its price in the MarketPlace of WP7, 2.99€. Some will seem abusive, more if we take into account that the Android version is free and iOS costs only 0.79 cents. For these players could recommend them Panda VS Ninjas, a game very similar to Angry Birds but with a much more attractive price: has a free version with advertising or other payment, only 0.99€, without ads.

Anyway I think that the guys from Redmond are doing things really well and each time Windows Phone 7 step stronger.
